Ordinary
In a narrative film, the visual narrative is a thought process that you construct for the viewer to take them on a journey. In this workshop you'll learn how to create a scene using five shots to realize how a small story is the building block for telling a bigger one. The five-shot method is a ubiquitous structure, as it helps construct a visual narrative in vignettes, manageable little segments of story that when pieced together, offering the viewer a sense of community and visual structure to engage storytelling over time.
Compelling narrative videos need strong individual shots and presentation of those shots in a sequence that complements the parts and creates a much greater whole.
