#Gaels4Hope

Saint Mary's College of California's Mission and Ministry Center presents the Interfaith Hope Project.

This project is a product of the lack of hope many were feeling in May of 2020.

The needs of this project include a logo to highlight the project and assist in creating a kick-starter campaign that will feature the community shearing where they are finding hope.

The project logo must be a lock-up of the Mission and Ministry Center SMC logo using Saint Mary's branding guidelines. Use an interfaith wheel as the image/logo which can be locked-up to the SMC logo.

For the kick-starter, needs include a title, way to distinguish it on social media, posters, video standardization with the content of other ways to feel supported, and social media image standardization. During the duration of the kick-starter, assist the publicity team in digital content management, and consult on different marketing opportunities.

The kick-starter duration is May 8 through May 23, 2020.

The Task

The kickstarter campaign was doved #Gaels4Hope.

The promotion of the #Gaels4Hope is to engage the entire Saint Mary's Community in hope, no matter their faith, non-faith, or spiritual identity during the challenging times 2020 has brought them.

To bring this to fruition, participants were asked to print one of the posters, write-in where they are finding hope during this time, and either take a photo of themselves holding the poster and/or record a video.

If participants chose to create a video, they were asked to use a standardized script and to keep it under 30 seconds of them speaking.

The standardized script of the video is:

"Hey SMC! I am finding hope [insert individual response]. Be kind and keep the faith. (Or we got this Gaels!) See you in the Fall!
